What is a CoR 10.2?

A CoR 10.2 is a CIPC form to Apply to renew a defensive name registration.

This form is issued in terms of section 12 (9) of the Companies Act, 2008, and Regulations 10 of the Companies Regulations, 2011

CoR 10.2 form Instructions from CIPC

A fee of R30 must accompany this application if the application is submitted electronically or R50 in any other case

Evidence that the applicant still has a direct and material interest in the registered name must accompany this application.

A fee of R50 for the name listed must accompany this application if the application is submitted electronically; or R75 for the names, in any other case.

The registration of a name is not renewed until the Commission has issued a Confirmation Notice in Form CoR 9.4 in response to this application.
